Ukrainian forces are set to encircle a key city which could see the Russian lines in the region "collapse". Taking the area could allow Ukraine to make serious inroads into the industrial Donbas, which Vladimir Putin's stated war goal is to conquer following his forces' failure to capture Kyiv.
